Safegate – Standard
Safegate standard is a light weight edge protection system for lift shafts. It is tested to BS EN 13374:2013 Class A & B.
Safegate – Solid
Safegate Solid is fitted flush to wall structure, minimising any gaps, making it ideal for when fire and smoke reduction is required.
Safegate – Double
Designed to assist with the loading out into the lift shaft, the Safegate Double has a 1600mm opening, reducing the need to remove the edge protection once installed.

At Safegate, we offer edge protection hire to clients nationwide to provide constructive safety measures to employees when working at height. We offer three different types of gates designed for various purposes.
The first is our standard Safegate, a proprietary edge protection system that creates a barrier for lift shafts, riser cupboards, ventilation systems, and electrical areas. Second is our Safegate Solid, fixed flush to the wall to minimise fire and smoke release. Finally, the Safegate Double, designed to assist with loading larger items into your lift shaft.
Our fitting teams are highly trained in all the installation procedures, but we offer training for self-installation if preferred. We strive to provide affordable and flexible edge protection hire to clients nationwide and aim to impart effortless experiences to our customers.
